Hi, I’m Seranya! The baker, decorator, dishwasher, and dessert fairy behind Just Whisk. 💗

I’ve always dreamed of owning a dessert bar filled with pretty desserts, cosy vibes, and sweet little moments shared over something delicious.

It all started during lockdown, when a tart craving (and no way to buy one!) sent me into the kitchen. Soon my family started craving things too, and I just kept baking, discovering a whole new kind of joy in seeing their reactions with every bite. What began as a sweet fix turned into something so much more… and Just Whisk was born. It’s always been a one-woman show: just me, my little oven, and a whole lot of love.

In 2023, I moved to Hobart, Tasmania for my studies, and after some time away from baking, I realised just how much I missed it. So, to celebrate Just Whisk’s fifth birthday, I brought it back — same heart, new home.

I’m a certified pastry chef and a full-time student with a big love for all things pink, dainty, and anything sweet. But more than that, I love how desserts make people feel. The excitement, the smiles, the silence before the first bite, its magical. It’s not just about baking (though I adore it), it’s about the joy it brings.

One day, I hope to open my own dessert bar. But for now, I’m happily baking from my cozy home kitchen, creating sweet little things that are made to be shared (or not — I won’t judge).
